Natalie Aragonez is a dedicated advocate with over six years of experience supporting system-impacted people and individuals struggling with substance use disorder. Drawing from her lived experience, Natalie has worked as a case manager and peer specialist, fostering resilience and empowerment among the people she serves. She embodies a strength-based, trauma-informed approach that is grounded in empathy and cultural humility.

Her contributions within the nonprofit sector extend to various efforts, and most recently include her involvement in Denver’s House 1000, an initiative aimed at providing housing and supportive services to marginalized and vulnerable community members.


Natalie believes deeply in the transformative power of identification and connection. She regularly provides peer support at detox and substance use treatment facilities throughout the Denver Metro Area. She is also a volunteer with the Faith and Citizens Program for the Colorado Department of Corrections.


Natalie cherishes quality time spent with her family and is a senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is pursuing an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Criminal Justice.
