Martín Uriarte brings over 20 years of diverse experience from software engineering to strategic brand development. Raised by a single mom in underserved Los Angeles communities as a multiracial, African-American and Hispanic youth, Martín developed a deep sense of empathy and passion for equality. His comprehensive skill set, including certifications in web development and software engineering from General Assembly, uniquely positions him to drive empowerment and engagement for incarcerated individuals and the HEP community. Martín is completing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, and plans to obtain his Master of Science in Marketing soon thereafter. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father to two daughters, an avid anime fan, and a passionate sports fan, particularly soccer. Martín’s unique blend of personal experiences, fluency in both English and Spanish, and professional expertise enriches his approach to building meaningful community connections and driving impactful communication strategies within the field.
