Jonathan Stenger is the Chief Strategy Officer at YouthBuild USA, the global support center for a movement to build the skillsets and mindsets that lead to lifelong learning, livelihood, and leadership for young people who have been disconnected from traditional educational and vocational pathways. Within the opportunity youth population, the YouthBuild movement primarily serves young people who lack a high school diploma and financial resources. Across hundreds of YouthBuild programs in the United States and around the globe, these young people work together to reclaim their education, gain job skills, and become leaders in their communities. Prior to joining YouthBuild, Jonathan worked in communications, fundraising, external affairs, and public policy for Osborne Association, a New York-based organization that is committed to transforming lives, communities, and the criminal justice system through a broad range of policy advocacy and treatment, educational, and vocational services for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people and their families.
