In past years, the Alliance has provided full or partial financial support to a significant portion of conference attendees, and a majority of financial aid recipients were formerly incarcerated. This year, we hope to offer at least 50 financial aid awards.

The NCHEP 14 budget totals $667,500 and outlines funding for key areas of the event. A significant amount is allocated to food and meeting space, participant financial aid for travel and accommodation, and audio/visual technology. Additional expenses include staff travel, signage, branding, marketing, and promotional efforts, along with funds for keynote speakers. The budget also covers ASL interpreters, graphic design, and other web design support. Pre-conference activities, taxes and service fees, creative competition prizes, and photography/videography are also factored in. Additionally, it accounts for staff time dedicated to the event and includes a small fee for our HR/finance firm that supports Alliance administrative needs.A full budget overview can be provided upon request.
