This event brings together professionals, students, academics, policymakers, and the greater business community to support the business case for Second Chance Hiring. Second Chance Hiring is the practice of hiring people with prior criminal convictions and arrest records. We will discuss themes around employment, talent, and policy.
Writing the Code examines topics that interest and impact MIT Sloan’s underrepresented minority students and alumni as they navigate career journeys. The series amplifies and uplifts the career stories, experiences, and testimonies of those in the MIT Sloan School of Management’s community who identify as members of a historically marginalized community.
MIT Sloan EMBA student, Daniel Dart, EMBA '24, is a leader in Second Chance Hiring and is justice-impacted. We plan to highlight his experience while amplifying the issues related to fair chance hiring and how that impacts our community of industry and academic professionals.
