Direct Investing Program

We are working to ensure that all people, regardless of their location or circumstance, have access to quality higher education. One way we do this is by making funding for higher education in prison programs more accessible to practitioners, program administrators, students and community partners.

We have developed strong partnerships with donors and foundations that see the value in expanding quality higher education in prison programs. With their financial support, we are making it possible for more people to get the training and peer support they need to establish, grow and sustain quality higher education in prison programs.

The Alliance supports higher education in prison programs and practitioners, at various stages of development, who are creating and growing higher education in prison programs. Through direct program investment, the Alliance facilitates a deeper level of conversation, data sharing, and problem-solving.
